“I love YP because it not only gives me opportunities to network with other young professionals, but I am able to create events for members of the community.  I enjoy working with my board members to curate events where young professionals and members of the community can have a good time but also leave with information that can help them begin to transform their lives.”

– Erin Stephens, YP Participant

“Growing up in Atlanta, I saw how The Urban League was dedicated to uplifting and empowering minority communities. As a young professional, I make it my duty to serve in any capacity to make sure my community and people can receive the same empowerment and economic sustainability. Young Professionals is an auxiliary that allows me to serve my community while connecting with other professionals & entrepreneurs like myself. YP creates spaces for minorities to thrive, and I want to be a part of that.”

– Napierra Alexander, YP Participant

“YP has allowed me to utilize one of my core values which is service before self. While I have definitely benefited from the business relationship side. I have been truly fulfilled by the culture of economic empowerment, community service, and social relationships.

– Roland McIntyre, YP President

“I chose to lead as a Young Professional because I am deeply committed to promoting civic participation and advocating for underrepresented communities. My aim is to mobilize young professionals, develop strategic initiatives, and collaborate with stakeholders to address social issues and create lasting change.
